Description
XS Plus PT controls are used for system checks and quality control of the CoaguChek® XS Plus or CoaguChek® Pro meters.

•4 bottles of lyophilised control plasma Level 1
•4 diluent-filled droppers
•1 code chip
The meter and test strips are also necessary to complete a test.
Preparation
Dissolve the contents of one bottle by adding the contents of one dropper and allow to stand for at least 1 minute. Mix carefully by gently swirling the bottle. This is stable for 30 minutes so do not store for use at a later time or date.
•Prepare the meter and test strip according to the operators manual
•Insert the quality control code chip in the meter
•Use the dropper to apply one hanging drop of the control material to the sample application area of the test strip. (Save the remaining solution until the test result is obtained and for repeating if necessary).
