Cutimed Alginate is a calcium sodium alginate dressing made out of natural seaweed. The alginate component of this dressing allows it to absorb up to 20 times its own weight in exudate.

•Exchange of calcium ions in the dressing with sodium ions in the exudate transforms the alginate into a moist gel
•Provides a moist environment to help with wound healing
