FreeStyle Control Solution
FreeStyle control solution is a red liquid that contains a fixed amount of glucose. The purpose of the control solution is to:
- Practise a test without using blood
- To confirm that the meter and test strips are working properly together
- To test the machine when you are unsure of the test results
Important Information
- Use the FreeStyle control solution only with your FreeStyle meter
- Replace the cap immediately after use
- Results are only accurate between 15° – 40°C
- Do not add any other liquid to the control solution
