There are various products available which all assist in sigmoidoscopy examinations, there is the 6v Illumination System for Sigmoidoscopy and there are also the separate disposable anoscopes and disposable sigmoidoscopes.

6v Illumination System for Sigmoidoscopy
•For use with fibre optic, stainless steel or disposable sigmoidoscopes and anoscopes.
•Comes with light handle, transformer, insufflation bulb and fibre optic light heads with airtight viewing window (also available as individual components).
•N.B. Stainless steel sigmoidoscope is not included with the illumination system. Can be purchased as an optional extra.
Disposable Sigmoidoscopes and Anoscopes
•Anatomically shaped light heads for easier insertion.
•Smooth tips are pre-lubricated with fluid activated dry vegetable lubricant to ease insertion and minimise patient discomfort.
•Frosted external coating and matt internal finish eliminates glare and maximises light at distal tip.
•Individually wrapped for greater hygiene.
